Do I need to be home?
Do I need to be home?
We aim to reuse as much packaging as possible so all orders are packed using fruit and vegetable boxes. We don't use ice packs or coolers so please make sure that you're home so that perishable items are not left out of refrigeration.
If you can't be home we can pack any frozen/chilled items into a Thermabag which can be purchased from our online store or in our Kapunda shop.
These bags do not need ice packs and keep items cool for up to three hours. They are re-usable so if you can't be home for a future order you can leave the bag in a safe place and we'll pack your chilled items inside when we deliver.

What packaging do you use?
What packaging do you use?
Most of our meals are packaged in lined sugarcane trays, which are made from a minimum of 90% sugarcane pulp.
They are freezer, microwave and oven safe within a temperature range of -40°C to 200°C.
The trays are recyclable and have a notch in one corner to tear out the lining. The tray is 100% compostable once the lining is removed.
Larger meals are packaged in aluminium foil trays with a cardboard lid, both of which are recyclable.
